34. Helping Jennifer (Intermediate)

Jennifer, a student of Italian coming from Australia, has the opportunity to practice her Italian with Giovanni, a nice young gentleman that is trying to help her out.

Today we will explain the grammar rule that in English is called “present perfect continuous”, the one we use to show that something started in the past and has continued up until now.

Finally, we’ll wish “buona fortuna” to Jennifer, a very smart young lady that a year ago became one of the first LearnItalianPod subscribers – and after a few months of practice she felt she was ready to go to Italy to spend a year there studying Italian – and she’s doing it.
