June 8th, 2008
Learn Italian with LearnItalianPod.com! Here’s another episode of the mini series of shows all dedicated to Italian idiomatic sentences. We’ve started the series a couple of weeks ago, and, according to all the feedback received, our listeners are really enjoying it!
So, let’s learn and practice a selection of super-common, useful, and “fun to learn” idiomatic sentences that, once you master them, they will really make you sound like a real 100% Italian! Italian idiomatic sentences are expressions that usually cannot be literally translated in English but are really important to learn. In fact, they are what makes the Italian language so colorful and charming. Enjoy!

June 12th, 2008 at 10:49 pmI am a first generation American, born of Italian parents. My wonderful husband is from New Zealand and I have been a podcast subscriber since mid 2006. My husband and I just LOVE to sit and practice the episodes. We have a lot of fun. Most recently we listened to the idiomatic phrases - my husband’s favourite is “campa cavallo che l’erba cresce” - he said he heard that sentence many times from my family. Thank you, and keep up the terrific work!
