  1. What’s interesting about the expression ‘fare impressione’ is that can have a positive and a negative connotation, depending on the contest. For example, ‘quello che ha detto mi ha fatto impressione” – what he/she said made an impression on me (in a positive way) or what he/she said put me off (in this case, in a negative way).
