26. I Would Buy A Ferrari (Intermediate)
October 29th, 2006

Learn Italian Language with Podcasts! Today we are going to finish what we have started a couple of weeks ago. Then, we have introduced the expression “se io fossi” (if I were); today, we are going to learn more about hypothetical sentences, and how to use the subjunctive and the conditional together. It’s not easy, be warned! While doing so, Jane is telling us about her dream of living in a villa in Tuscany, and Massimo about his dream of buying a Ferrari. Enjoy!

25. If I Were Rich… (Intermediate)
October 15th, 2006

Learn Italian Language with Podcasts! Here’s Massimo on a typical case of “Sunday night blues”. He doesn’t feel like going to work tomorrow, he whines a little, and says “Se fossi ricco…” (If I were rich…). Even if you love what you’re doing, as Massimo does, don’t tell us you never had a “Sunday night blues” episode. We will not believe you. Let’s see how Jane shuts up the whiner (Massimo), let’s learn the typical Italian expression “c’e’ chi sta peggio”, and let’s review the use of subjunctive mood on hypothetical sentences. Enjoy!
