What does the expression “prenotare in rete” means? I’ve heard that when I was in Italy and my Italian friends told me the word “rete” means “internet”.

Hi there Marina,
‘rete’ means ‘net’ / ‘network’ and hence ‘Internet’. ‘Prenotare’ means ‘tp make a reservation’ so the phrase means ‘to make a reservation over the Internet’. I hope that helps.
