excellent lesson. thanks jane and massimo.
though why is it ‘la coperta prese fuoco’ and not ‘la coperta presa fuoco’ or even ‘la coperta presa fuoca.’
i’m a bit confused by that.

’prese’ is the past definite of ‘prendere’ – ‘the cover caught fire’.
