Phrasebook #8: Idiomatic Expressions

Gina, one of our LearnItalianPod VIP members and also a great friend, made a terrific suggestion. She said: “Did you ever think of doing a show on idiomatic phrases or expressions? Hearing the colloquialisms could be very helpful!” - What a fantastic idea, Gina!
So here’s the first of a “mini series” of episodes (filed under the Phrasebook category), all dedicated to useful and “fun to learn” Italian idiomatic sentences and colloquialism, expressions that usually cannot be literally translated in English but are really important to learn. In fact, they are what makes the Italian language so colorful and charming. Enjoy!
