Loved the tongue twister… took me a week of practice to get it right, but now I can say it, almost at the same speed Jane says it. What I’ve noticed is that it really helped improve my overall pronunciation. Great episode

I noticed that when Massimo pronounces “pizza,” “pazza,” “pozzo,” etc. I do not hear the “t” sound as in when an English speaker would say “pizza” (”peetza”); rather the double z’s sound more like they do in “pizzazz.” However, when Jane says these same words I do hear that “tz” sound. Are both pronunciations equally correct?

Great question, Angela. Yes, both pronunciation are correct, and no one is better than the other.
