44. Our Little Puppy Toby
Level: Beginner

Tobia is the Italian name of Jane’s nice little puppy and he likes hiding everywhere. Massimo is looking for him on the bed, under the sofa, and behind the plant. Let’s see if he can find him so they can go play outside – it’s such a beautiful day! Today we are learning and practicing some Italian prepositions, like “sopra” (on, above, on top of), “sotto” (under, below), and “dietro” (behind).
21. Let’s Talk Computers (Intermediate)

Imagine this: you are in Italy, and you want to use a computer. We mean a local computer… so you turn it on to check your e-mail and everything pops up in Italian. “Niente panico” (do not panic), after this episode you’ll be a master of the Italian computer lingo!

43. Ma Va A Quel Paese!

Everybody gets angry once in a while, and Italians are no exception! Today we are going to learn some colorful and popular expressions Italians use when they are “arrabbiati” (angry). Just be careful on where and when you are going to use those expressions – they can get you in trouble! (Please note: this episode DOES NOT contain bad words).
20. She’s Back! (Intermediate)
Level: Intermediate

Today we are going to learn how to use the subjunctive tense – and be warned: even Italians say it’s not easy to learn! We’ll learn that we’ll need to use the subjunctive, present or past tense, when in the presence of specific sentences such as “spero che…” (I hope that…), “penso che…” (I think that…), or “voglio che…” (I want that…).

42. A Phone Call From The Airport

He has not seen her for six months. He’s due to pick her up at the airport, and he’s running late! Today, we’ll hear a phone conversation and will practice some more typical, informal Italian expressions. All of that without forgetting to say… “bentornata, Jane!”.
19. Coming Back Home (Intermediate)
Level: Intermediate

Today we’ll read you a letter that we just received from Jane (she’s coming back!). In this short letter we are going to learn some useful expressions you can use when writing to a friend, like “mi sei mancato” (I missed you), “non vedo l’ora di vederti” (I can’t wait to see you), or “a presto” (see you soon).
