Phrasebook #1: Pronunciation & Problems
May 21st, 2006
We have been thinking for quite some time of a way to publish a comprehensive list of basic Italian phrases grouped by subject that anybody could use “as is” or as building blocks of a conversation. Using a very good online Italian Phrasebook as a starting point, we’re launching a new category that will give you the chance to learn, refine, and practice some must-know Italian words and phrases. Enjoy!

May 25th, 2006 at 2:29 amHi!
It’s so fantastic that you’ve given voice to the Italian phrasebook from Wikitravel! I’m so glad to see that you’ve done this. To my mind this is a perfect example of the magic that can happen with Open content.
I’m putting a note on the phrasebook’s talk page to this extent.
Thanks!

June 1st, 2006 at 11:10 pmHello,
I am using your wonderful web site to learn Italian and I find it very helpful.
Spanish is my second language, so I find it very easy to pick up on Italian, because both languages are so similar. Thanks for this wonderful site. These audio files are helping me a lot to learn Italian by myself.
