Towards the end of the dialogue, why does Massimo say, ” …e offero io?” Why wouldn’t it be “…ed offero io?”

Cathy, Massimo says “e offro io” - both “e offro io” and “ed offro io” can be used.

In conjugating the verb volere, should it be “loro vogliono” or is “voglion” correct as listed under the Supplementary Vocabulary?
